Biography

Nyema Guannu is a doctoral student in economics (graduation in spring 2020) at the Claremont Graduate University. He earned a Master’s degree in international studies from the University of Denver - Korbel School of International Studies and holds concurrent Bachelor’s degrees in economics, philosophy, and political science from Arizona State University.

His research interests include economic development, international trade, and international finance. This research includes analysis of the interaction of regional integration, economic development and economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa, the relationship between health and economic development, and studies of exchange rates, capital account/external liberalization, and international financial institutions.

Nyema Guannu was born in Monrovia, Liberia.
